Product Information

Three components comprise the Accu-Counter System.

1. A-WEAR Shot Counter

2. USB-IR Data Collection Device (DCD)

3. A-WEAR Software©

The Accu-Counter A-WEAR Shot Counter is a lightweight, long life, waterproof, passive weapon component that monitors and records all rounds fired. The data is stored in the shot counter memory along with the weapons maintenance records. This unique capability allows weapons maintenance personnel to precisely determine the exact number of rounds fired and rate of fire on each weapon and its components during training exercises, missions or deployments.

The shot counter is installed in the pistol grip of assault rifles, most machine guns and sniper rifles. The serial number of the shot counter and weapon serial number are linked in the A-WEAR software.

  • Stores multiple weapon’s data
  • Collects shot data, maintenance data, and serial numbers
  • With PC, transfers maintenance data to and from shot counter memory

The PC loaded with the A-WEAR software reads and analyzes the weapon data collected from the USB-IR-DCD memory.

  • PC evaluates one weapon at a time
  • Analyzes shot data and rate of fire
  • Tracks sub-assembly life based on number of shots and environmental factors
  • Can pass data to external software (Excel, etc.)
  • User Configurable
  • Software can be customized for needs of the End User
